December...

Glad it's finally here...Holidays!! Yay! Finals all went pretty well but I am definetly glad they are over! For the holidays we are sticking pretty close to home. Each evening we have some sort of supper happening with different family groups so it will be really nice to spend some time with the relatives!! I was hoping to go snowboarding for a day out to table or wapiti, but if this weather keeps up I don't think it woyuld be much fun soooo I am re-thinking that idea. A plus side to this weather is we have SNOW!!!! So happy it finally came, for a little while we were wondering if it would ever come.

Dad celebrated his 19th "kidney" anniversary on the 12th of Dec. but started dialysis last week and is feeling pretty good...definitley feeling thankful for the advances in technology since 19 years ago.

So this holiday I am going to hole myself up for a good couple days and paint my room. It is changing from pink and orange to brown and green. I have been wanting to do this for a while and now I actually have time!! I am very excited! I have some Before Pictures....My sister Lisa painted it when I was 12 and it is actually amazing but i am feeling the need for something a little calmer and I'm sure you'll see why....it's crazy but fun!!! Was awesome for the teen years!
AND yes it is really messy but really, there is not point in cleaning it right now b/c it is just going to get way more messy in these next couple weeks so it would just be a waste of time....and there is stuff already pushed into the middle of the floor...thats my excuse..I am really not this big of a pig....usually

November

With November came papers. This past month all my term papers and most of my essay were due. So it is a relief that it is december except for the fact that finals are next week.

Weather is still beautiful!! I hear that by wednesday it is supposed to go down to -2o so that will suck but hopefully it will come with snow!!!!

Can't wait for the break... going to paint my room and hopefully get a lot of Lisa n Shauns wedding present done! haven't had a lot of time to do anything so far so hopefully......

I think we are planning on sticking around home for the break, mom and dad just got home from weekend in calgary/Jasper....dad had some tests in calgary so when those were done they took the scenic route through jasper to come home...not out of the way at all ;)

Special meetings are on the 21 so plan is to go to those ones! mom and dad may go to nipawin for them this weekend!

So thats really all that has been going on here!

Well it has been over a month since my last post so i thought maybe it is time for something new... This past month has been craaaaazy busy, I have now completed my first month of nursing and am quite enjoying it!! My first mid-term is on monday....a little scary but hopefully all goes well!!! I have still been playing rugby with the U of S club team...we are trying to get varsity status to become and "official" U of S team so hopefully that happens this coming year!!

That has pretty much been my life this month....reading reading and more reading with a little reading inbetween for fun!! Hence the slowing up of the blog posts....there is just nothing interesting right now....i don't think i have even taken any new pictures for a while... Now thats scary.

Well thats really all I have to say...just letting you know that yes, i am still alive!!!

Rugby Nationals

This past summer I have been playing on the Under 19 Provincial Rugby team and last week we went to Nationals in Ottawa. We ended up getting fifth in our category. I had an awesome time playing, watching, and learning!! On our last day there we got up early and headed downtown to see parliament and the market! It was an awesome experiance and i hope i get the opportunity to go again next year!!

The day after i got back i headed out to camp for the last one of the year! Had a great time, as usual and then staff had our final final banquet. It was awesome and lots of fun!!

Shaun & Lisa's Wedding

Well the day has come and gone and my big sister is now a married woman!!! It's hard to believe that after all this anticipation and planning that its all over!!

We had such an amazing day on Saturday and nothing could have gone better!! The weather cooperated, we laughed, we cried, we celebrated!!! We are so glad that Shaun is now a part of our family.

This is just a brief little group of pictures but the day is sumed up in the smiles that are on the faces of S & L.

Keeping You in the Loop!

Well I have been having an awesome summer!!! Reeeeaalllyyy busy, but reeeaaaalllyyy awesome!

Camp is going really well! I have the next two off...Lisa's wedding is on saturday and then the week of the 18th I go to Ottawa for Rugby Nationals!! Then when i get back, it's off to camp for the last time this year. School starts on the 2nd of september so i am really excited about that!!!!

So ya thats pretty much all thats been happening here...I have some pictures for now and then I'll add some wedding ones when I have them!!!
