And I'm off!!!...again

So I'm leaving today, again, to go to Chitek!! Haven't been there for 2 years; because of Dad's surgery last year we didn't get up, soooo I'm looking forward to it!! I'm gone for about a week and then I come home for a day to do laundry and go to the fringe...then I'm off to easter seals again!!! So have a good week and we'll talk to you all later!!!! BYE!!

A few pictures!!

I have some pictures of C.E.S...not a lot though because I can't put pics of campers on the net so here are a few from camp...they don't even come close to really do justice to any of my experiance.

Our cabin pranked another cabin by putting shaving cream all over their windows and by toilet papering the cabin and then to top it off, we smeared dog food all over the deck then planted a garden goose on top of it!! The campers loved it and it was a good way to spend a half hour while the other cabin was in town!!
This is the lake where the camp is located....Manitou Lake....the water there is 10x saltier than the ocean....if you look very very closely, you might see some white letter's across the shore....the four of us canoed out there one day and spelled C.I.T's '07 in white boards
This is the dining hall...and the sign hanging over the door is my cabins sign...cabin 9!!...and by the way, the people you see in the pics are counsellors

Home!

Alright, well my first week at C.E.S. was absolutely amazing!! I learned so much about myself and just about life. I can't wait to go back in August for 2, maybe 3 more weeks. I have some pictures but I can't put all of them online because most of them are of the campers (camp rules, can't put pics of campers online) so when I get them downloaded I'll put them on.
I can't even begin to explain what all I learned or what even happened while I was out there, but it was an amazing experiance and I know by the end of my time out there, I'm going to look at life a whole lot differently.
Dad and I went to Christopher Lake yesterday for the day to visit my brother Ryan and his wife and kids...it was sooo hot and the lake was sooo nice, we wished we could have stayed longer!
The family is going to Chitek on Friday for a week or so, so I'm excited about that, especially with the hot weather we've been having, it'll be nice to just hang out and relax in the water all day!!!

Camp!

So I'm of to Camp Easter Seal tomorrow for a week....my first week on the job!!! I'm looking forward to it!! Takin my little rust bucket of a car for it's first road trip!!! Pretty exciting!!! Have a good week everyone!!

Meota...Chase Family Annual Golf Weekend

This past weekend was our annual Chase family golf weekend in Meota.... My grandma was a Chase and grew up in Meota so my mom and her family spent a lot of time there in the summer when they were growing up... the pictures are kind of scrambled but here they are:

Summer Job!!

This summer I'm going to be working at Camp easter Seal!!!! I start on the 13th of July and then I'm there for a few weks in July and August!! I'm pretty excited about it because I have wanted this job since last year but i couldn't get it because of proir commitments! So it should be fun!!!
Family Reunion this weekend at Meota and then to the states on monday for the day!! Should be fun!

Burger...

okay....where to begin...

On tuesday a whole bunch of us went out to Hafford Sk to enjoy there 40lb burger which actually ended up weighing about 60 lbs...It was HUUUGE.... along with their huge burgers, they also serve ice cream by the fist and the guy has a size 16 ring.....the icecram cone you see in these pictures, is a four fister.... most of us only got 1/2 fist and that was moooore than enough.... here's some pictures that Melissa had, I still have to upload mine and when I do I'll put them on!!

So the cook likes to take pictures of people "cutting" the burger, so we had some fun...the owners of this resturant are soooo proud of their little place, it's a medievil theme......kind of creppy but really neat!
